Greyson Michael Chance :3

Greyson Michael Chance, a 12 year-old school boy from Edmond, Oklahoma became an instant internet music sensation when his cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” got noticed by millions of fans on YouTube.

Greyson is a a sixth-grader at Cheyenne Middle School. He is the youngest son of Scott and Lisa Chance. He has a 16-year old sister named Alexa. His older brother Tanner is 19-year old.

Greyson Chance had 3 years of piano lessons, but no formal vocal training. According to his YouTube profile, he is very inspired by none other than Lady Gaga and Augustana. The video of his school recital was posted online on April 28 and attracted millions of views.

Some of his original creations such as “Broken Hearts” and “Stars” are also posted on his YouTube channel (greyson97).

He performed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, May 13, 2010.
